I needed something that looked nicer, so I bought a leather office chair.
I read a story the other day about this really nice leather office chair, and it sounds like a great product. My ergonomic chair has served me well, but I always loved the feel of leather, so I’m thinking about making a purchase. I tend to change desk chairs quite a lot, and this one is starting to get a little bit old for my taste. I think it’s time for a change.
I got the ergonomic chair about three years ago at a local department store. It was quite comfortable then, but I’ve never been happy with the way it looks cosmetically. Desk chairs are a big part of the atmosphere in your office environment, and a leather office chair brings an air of prestige to your workspace. This chair never had that, and I think it would be a really nice advantage.
When people see you have a genuine leather office chair, they take notice. It’s small things like that which can help you keep a great reputation in the business world. My ergonomic chair looked ok, but it’s not the sort of thing that raises your profile in any way. It may seem strange to look at desk chairs as status symbols, but the work place is partly controlled by political thinking, and it’s important to keep image in mind when you’re making any kind of decision.
