Starting your own E-commerce website is not like it used to be. There is much more competition now. However there is still time to get in on making money on the net as a lot of the world doesn’t have good net access yet. When they do get good access there will be more customers for you but also more competition. Start now and get ahead of the game and make website traffic commissions.
Those of us who do this for a living are in it for the money. It’s not a hobby and we aren’t going to waste time and effort just for the fun of it. Most people won’t wait forever to start making money before they start changing things. Just remember it can take the search engines months to get your site indeed properly and until they do you can do nothing but wait and see if it worked. Of course you can be working on articles and links at the same time. It will help.

However the most value comes from having your own highly targeted opt in email address lists.
There is an old adage. ‘the money is in the list’ and it’s still true today but now you have an even more targeted mailing list than you had in the past. If you have a list of people who already bought from you then you have a built on order machine of about the highest quality you can get.
You can build a list of targeted people that are interested in what you are selling by giving them a download on your site about exactly what they are looking for. a good example would be Apple.com where you can get itunes and quicktime software for absolutely free. However they will ask you to fill out your name and email address so they can send you offers on songs that you can buy from them.
